A big hello to all my blogging friends...Well I was on a holiday so was missing from the blogging action .
I am back with this healthy and yummy recipe of PITA POCKETS -a nutritious meal ready in few minutes!
Ingredients :
4 Whole wheat Pocket Pita Bread
1 cup chopped Lettuce
1/4 cup chopped cucumber
1/2 cup chopped Tomatoes
1/4 cup Baked beans
Hummus
Salt and pepper to taste
Hummus
1cup boiled chickpeas
1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
1-2 garlic cloves
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp chilli flakes
Method:
In a blender mix all ingredients adding water to adjust the consistency.Hummus is ready.
To make Pita sandwiches toast the pita bread applying butter/oil on a pan.Now spread some hummus inside the pocket.Fill it with lettuce tomatoes cucumber and top it with baked beans.
Your yummy and healthy pita pockets are ready!!!
