the divine taste of cashew oats cookies !!



When I was making these cookies I had no idea they would taste so divinely delicious....the combination of oats and cashew makes it simply delectable! It is a perfect accompaniment to coffee/tea in this chilly weather.
These cookies are so simple and easy to make that you won't think twice before trying them out.
So without much ado here's the recipe for you :


Ingredients 

175 g self-raising flour
75 g porridge oats
175 g sugar
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1 tsp baking powder
125 g butter
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp chopped cashews 


Method

Mix  flour, oats, sugar, bicarbonate of soda and baking powder in a  bowl. Add honey,cashews and melted butter.Use your hands to make the dough.Divide and shape into rounds.(26-28)Arrange on the baking trays, not too close to each other as they spread. Press the tops to flatten a little.
Bake at 180 C for about 15 minutes until golden brown and firm. Remove from the oven and let it cool and firm up
.
Enjoy these yummy cookies with coffee/tea.
